The Dungeon is the economy hub: its room rewards are the documented source of every mode key (Dragon, Demon Castle, Academy, Mist Mountain, Titan Defense — 5% each per the official items page) and the only source of Evolution Shards (1%), Evolution Crystals (0.5%), Evolution Essences (0.25%), and Evolution Sigils (0.03%) that evolve Secret Heroes.
Anime Stars Maps & Systems: All 10 Modes, Keys, and Progression Systems
Every Anime Stars game mode (Dungeon to Mage Trial) with difficulties, keys, and documented rewards, plus the progression systems: 65 Rank Ups, 12 Hunter promotions, upgrade shops, and island machines — checked 2026-10-03.
Quick answer: the map is a ladder of systems
Anime Stars' map is ten worlds unlocked in order — finishing an island's quest line opens the next — and each island mounts three kinds of systems on its enemies: a gacha, a signature game mode, and at least one permanent-multiplier machine or shop. Around the islands, the lobby hosts the Dungeon (which keys every other mode), the Coin Upgrades, and the Hero Passive vault. The progression spine is Rank Up (65 Power multipliers in Skylands) and Hunter promotions (12 permanent stat tiers in Shadow City), and Update 6.5 raised both ceilings. Every rate and cost below is quoted from the official wiki with its checked date.

What each mode pays, per the documented sources
Dragon Raid materials feed Alien Planet's consumable crafting (Vital Bean, Draconic Essence, Fortune Talisman), and its rewards include Transcend Shards, Cores, and Orbs for transcending heroes and weapons.
The three island Trials (Shinobi, Reaper, Mage) are solo ranked ladders: 7, 10, and 13 ranks respectively, paying passive fragments, Ninja Chests, and Mage Trial Tokens.
Defense modes (Academy, Titan) are wave-based party stands; Titan Defense pays Titan Defense Tokens spent in the Fortified District Defense Shop, and Update 5.5 raised its wave cap to 100.
Demon Castle runs four difficulties up to Infinity and is the documented source of the shell-crafting fragments (Spirit, Eclipse, Precision, Sovereign, Celestial).

Rank Up (65 ranks)
Done in Skylands, paid with Power, and each rank multiplies Power earned. Rank 1 is ×1 at 1.5K Power; Rank 10 is ×38.4 at 3.69B; Rank 30 is ×128K at 2.31 Sp; Rank 60 is ×24.5B at 11.5 TD; Rank 65 (max) is ×186B. Update 6.5 added five more Rank Ups.
Hunter promotions
Twelve permanent promotion tiers earned in Shadow City, from E-Rank to Monarch King (see table). Update 1.5 shipped the first seven; Update 6.5 added Grand Monarch and Monarch King.
Coin Upgrades (Lobby)
Three 70-level tracks — Coins +4% per level (+280% max), Attack +5% (+350%), Power +5% (+350%) — with 590 Sx Coins buying out all tracks.
Mode shops
Boss Shop (Desert Village, 10 levels, Boss Tokens), Defense Shop (Fortified District, 50 levels, Titan Defense Tokens), and Mage Shop (Clover Kingdom, 50 levels, Mage Trial Tokens) each permanently raise Attack, Power, and Coins by 5–10% per level.
Ascension and Evolution
Secret Heroes ascend and then evolve with Evolution materials that drop only in Dungeon rooms (Shard 1%, Crystal 0.5%, Essence 0.25%, Core 0.1%, Sigil 0.03%); Update 5 documented Hero Evolution for Secret Heroes with 1.5x boosts.
The system families every world mounts
One row per family — the per-island breakdown lives on the worlds page.
| System | What it does |
|---|---|
| Gachas (13) | One per island (Haki in Skylands through Magic Attributes and Grimoires in Clover Kingdom), each spinning 10 of its own material into permanent multipliers of x1.25 up to x12, with documented pity. |
| Upgrade machines (6) | Training Weights, Shadow Extraction, Hollow Power, Cursed Energy, Titan Power, Mana Conduit — +2% Power per level to 100 (+200% max), 143K material to max, 35–50% success at the top levels. |
| Mode shops (3) | Boss Shop (Boss Tokens), Defense Shop (Titan Defense Tokens), Mage Shop (Mage Trial Tokens) — permanent 5–10%-per-level Attack, Power, and Coins tracks. |
| Clans and Blessings | Six clans from 2M Coins (Desert Village) level to +60% class bonuses; Blessings roll from 60M Coins (Kingdom of Lions) from +25% Damage up to Absolute Grace (+180% Damage, 0.002%). |
| Masteries (4) | Hollow, Cursed, Titan, and Mage Mastery each climb to level 50 on enemy kills for +2% Power per level — the Update 6.5 additions filled out the set. |
| Artifacts and Weapon Trails | Cursed Academy's four artifacts reach +515% Power / +700% Crit Damage / +985% Coins at level 10; Snow Village's Weapon Trails add +5% Attack per level to 100 across eight trail tiers. |
Sourcing and gaps
Anime Stars' developer publishes an official in-game-data wiki, so this site treats that wiki and the Roblox game page as its fact sources and attaches the checked date to every table. Anything the official wiki does not publish — code rewards, per-hero stat tables, gamepass prices — is listed as undocumented instead of guessed, and update-sensitive numbers are re-checked after every named update (the game shipped 15 logged updates between August 16 and September 29, 2026).
Documented: every mode's location, format, difficulties, and key; the Rank Up and Hunter tables; shop costs and machine success rates. Documented on the official wiki but not enumerated here: per-island quest lists (the wiki confirms only that the last quest unlocks the next world) and exact Dungeon room-reward tables beyond the rates already quoted. The world-boss spawn schedule remains undocumented anywhere official.
Map and mode questions
How many game modes does Anime Stars have?
Ten, checked 2026-10-03: the Dungeon, Dragon Raid, Shinobi Trial, Demon Castle, Tournament, Reaper Trial, Academy Defense, Mist Mountain, Titan Defense, and Mage Trial. Four are party modes, six are solo, and the Dungeon is the hub whose room rewards drop every mode key.
How do I unlock new maps?
Worlds unlock by finishing the current island's quest line — the last quest opens the next island, which adds harder enemies, its own gacha, and new systems. Modes unlock with their island: Shadow City brings Demon Castle and the Tournament, Cursed Academy brings Academy Defense, and so on. Dungeon Extreme arrived with Update 3; Titan Defense with Update 5.5.
What is Rank Up and when should I rank?
Rank Up is Skylands' 65-step ladder paid in Power, and each rank multiplies the Power you earn — Rank 10 is x38.4 at 3.69B Power, Rank 30 is x128K, Rank 65 (max) is x186B. The official guide's rule: rank up whenever you can afford it, because the multiplier compounds into every later system.
What are Hunter promotions?
Shadow City's permanent promotion ladder, earned through promotion quests: E-Rank (no bonuses) up through S-Rank (+68% Attack, +9 Luck, +11% Drop Rate, +100% Power), National Level, World-Class, Monarch, Transcendent, and — since Update 6.5 — Grand Monarch and Monarch King (+270% Attack, +28 Luck, +30% Drop Rate, +365% Power).
Which mode should I farm first?
The Dungeon: it is the only documented source of every mode key (5% per room reward) and of the Evolution materials Secret Heroes need, so its rooms gate the rest of the mode system. After that, farm the island mode matching your current gacha — its tokens and fragments feed the shops and spins you are already building toward.
